Position Title: UCA/Monitor Tech
Location: Main Campus
Department: 2nd Floor - Med/Surg
Hours/Shifts: Per Diem - Days - 12 hour shift
Union: Union/Non-Exempt
Summary: Under the direction and and supervision of the Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor and/or Clinical Director monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetry. Maintains all information which are part of the legal and confidential patient records; performs routine clerical duties.
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience as UCA/Monitor Tech in acute care hospital.
- Requires completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course.
- Basic UCA course and knowledge of medical terminology.
- Computer experience required.
- BCLS certification.
