Position Title: Clinical Director, Nursing
Location: Main Campus
Department: Nursing , 2nd Floor
Hours/Shifts: Days. Full time
Union: Non-Union/Exempt
Summary: The Clinical Director, Nursing is responsible for 24 hour coordination of activites of patient care and service within an assigned unit. Responsible for providing, directing and evaluating patient care as delivered by self and patient care team. Coordinates services rendered by outside support services on an on-going basis.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - BSN; MSN preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (Title XXII, Joint Commission Standards.)
- Five or more years of previous experience in adult medical and critical care nursing, including at least two years of supervisory experience.
- Current CA RN license.
- Current BCLS & ACLS certification.
- Ability to manage a large staff effectively.
- Skill in organizing and managing time.
- Good judgment and problem-solving ability.
- Basic computer knowledge.
