“Thank you Barlow” Grateful Patient Gloria Zee is Glad to be Home for the Holidays

Gloria is a native of Cuba of Armenian descent who has lived 40 of her 88 years in Los Angeles. She was widowed more than a decade ago and now lives with daughter Lisa, son-in-law Kevin and granddaughter Annie in the family home in Los Angeles. She is happy to be back home after her stay at Barlow Respiratory Hospital.

Her recovery is taking longer than she would like, “You slide down that hill pretty quickly but to climb back up takes a long, long time.” Still, Gloria is glad to be home for the holidays, “there is nothing like family.”

She enjoyed attending granddaughter Annie’s performed in the NUTCRAKER BALLET “We are very proud of her.”

The family is grateful to Barlow for making it possible for her to be there. 2018 was Gloria’s 2nd hospitalization at Barlow. “We are very appreciative of the care she received. It was like being with family.”
